Robert de GRENTEMESNIL

Robert de was born in 1034 in Of Grentemesnil, Calvados, Normandy, France.¹   Robert de's father was Robert de GRENTEMESNIL and his mother was Hawise de ECHAFOUR.  His paternal grandfather was Gervase de Grentmesnil; his maternal grandparents were Giroie de Escalfoy and Gisele de Montfort. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hugh de, Arnold de and Adaliza de.  He was the second youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 48 on December 12th, 1082 in At, St. Euphamia, Sardina, Italy.  He was buried in At, St. Euphamia, Sardina, Italy.^1 1
