His paternal grandparents were Osbert de Bolebec and Avelina de Crpon; his maternal grandparents were Gerald FLAITEL and Gerald FLAITEL. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Walter, William, Osborne (Osbert) (Gyffarde), Rohese, Adelaide, Isabella Constance Catherine and Lora. He was the youngest of the eight children.-
