Bertha (de Clifford) was born about 1107 in of Brimesfield, Gloucestershire, England.¹ Bertha (de Clifford)'s father was Richard FitzPons and her mother was Maud FitzWalter. Her paternal grandfather was Pons Fitz Pons; her maternal grandparents were Walter FITZROGER and Berthe FITZROGER. She had three brothers named Walter (de Clifford), Sir Simon and Roger. She died after 1167.¹
