Mary Coxsey

Mary was born in 1865 in Tennessee.¹   Mary's father was Benjamin Coxsey and her mother was Martha L. Barksdale.  Her paternal grandparents were Absalom Coxsey and Elizabeth Maile. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John Taylor, Benjamin Molloy, Lilly Alice, Sarah Lou and Eliza Jane.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Loy and Lilly Ann.
