  My mother is Ruby Coxsey - my mother, a real little Ruby,
  died 6-14-1996
  - i'm writing you to give you information about her mother:
  you have
  her listed as Effie Morris - wife of Benjamin Molloy Coxsey.
  
  Grandma's name was Louisa Delina "Effie" Seay, born
  12-1-1877, married
  to my grandfather, Benjamin Molloy Coxsey 08-16-1903.  He
  had their
  house all furnished down to curtains and dishes when they
  moved in after
  their wedding.  Grandma "Effie" died 8-14-1964.  Her Father
  was Joseph
  Washington See (Seay), born 12-30-1839 (i think in MS) and
  he married my
  great-grandmother, Leann Morris 6-12-1864.  Leann Morris
  had a hard
  life.
  She was born in Overton Co, TN 01-31-1838.  She moved with
  her parents
  from TN to Ark when she was 3 months old and on that trip,
  her mother,
  Elizabeth Maxwell, died. Leann married my
  great-grandfather, "Jose" and
  they had several children.  A story was told about
  Great-grandma Leann
  that when the rebels came through raiding for supplies that
  she attached
  them with a broom to try to keep them from taking
  everything.  My
  grandfather "Jose" died when their youngest, my
  grandmother, "Effie" was
  eight months old.  Leann raised the children on her own,
  breeding her
  horse and foaling 2 mules a year to trade for money or
  supplies.  My
  great-granmother, Leann died 01-27-1914 when my mother was
  not yet 2
  years old.

  if you need
  some more.  I don't get on the computer often, but i was
  researching
