King CRANE 
King was born in 1826 in ,Mercer, Kentucky, USA.1 King's father was Tarlton Lee CRANE and his mother was Mary Elizabeth "Polly" BEEDLE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas CRAINE and Theodocia Ann LEE. He had fifteen brothers and three sisters, named George Miller, Thomas Jackson, Zachary Taylor, Robert, William C, James, John, Richard H, Calvin, Joel, Silas Harland, Charles B, Carey Carrie Allen, Nelson Lee "Little Doc", Joseph Lafon, Elizabeth L, Mitilda Porter and Theodosia. He was the nineth oldest of the nineteen children. He died at the age of 37 on May 16th, 1863 in Champions Hill, Mississippi, USA.1 General Notes
