William de BRAOSE 
William de was born about 1153 in Bramber, Sussex, England.1 William de's father was William de BRAOSE and his mother was Bertha de GLOUCESTER. His paternal grandparents were Philip de Braose and Aenor de TOTNAIS; his maternal grandparents were Miles FitzWalter and Sybil de NEUFMARCHE. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Reginald de, Philip de, Roger de, John de, Giles de, Robert de, Sybil de, Bertha de, Engeram de, Isabel de, Gillian de and Matilda de. He died on August 9th, 1211 in Corbeil (near Paris), Marne, France. He was buried on August 10th, 1211 in St. Victor's Abbey, Paris, France.1 1 General Notes
