‌William and Deborah were married in a religious ceremony in Tennessee.¹   They had four sons and eight daughters, named Henry Porter, John, Michael J., William Porter, Ailsey, Deborah, Eliza C., Emaline A., Martha, Mary A., Penelope and Susan Porter.
