John Melanethon Wexler 
John Melanethon was born in 1850 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 John Melanethon's father was Daniel Bacon Wexler and his mother was Elizabeth Gallien Duncan. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Wexler and Polly Brown; his maternal grandfather was Alfred Duncan. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Alfred Duncan, Edwin Benjamin, Samuel Lafayette, David Fleming, Mary Elizabeth and Rhoda Douglas. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 12 in 1862.1 -
