Sarah WOFFORD

Sarah was born about 1808 in Guilford Co., North Carolina.¹   Sarah's father was William Lafayette WOFFORD and her mother was Sarah Yerkes.  Her paternal grandparents were John WOFFORD and Nancy Burroughs; her maternal grandfather was Samuel Yerkes. She had four brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Smith, Charles Pinkney, Benjamin, William Doctor 'Doc', Elizabeth, Levinia and James.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died about 1849 in Henry Co., Tennessee.¹
