Mary Ann Almira was born about 1829 in Henry Co., Tennessee.1 Mary Ann Almira's father was Charles Pinkney WOFFORD and her mother was Jerusha BURTON. Her paternal grandparents were William Lafayette WOFFORD and Sarah Yerkes. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Alexander Brightwell, Thomas P., John D., William G., Charles P., Elizabeth Caroline and Nancy. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died about 1897 in Dent Co., Missouri. She was buried in Wofford Cemetery, Pilot Grove, Dent Co., Missouri.1 1 -
