Charles Pinkney WOFFORD

Charles Pinkney was born in 1804 in Guilford Co., North Carolina.¹   Charles Pinkney's father was William Lafayette WOFFORD and his mother was Sarah Yerkes.  His paternal grandparents were John WOFFORD and Nancy Burroughs; his maternal grandfather was Samuel Yerkes. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John Smith, Benjamin, William Doctor 'Doc', Elizabeth, Sarah, Levinia and James.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 62 in 1866 in 11 Point Mills, now Thomasville, Oregon, Missouri.¹
