Whitfield Turney

Whitfield was born on May 4th, 1810 in ,,Kentucky.¹   Whitfield's father was Peter Turney and his mother was Judith Collins.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Turney and Susan; his maternal grandparents were William Collins and Martha. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Felix G., Benjamin F., Daniel, Susan, Lucretia, Julia Ann and Sarah Or Sallie.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
