Sarah Ann was born on December 24th, 1863 in ,,Illinois.1 Sarah Ann's father was Griffin Tipsword and her mother was Elizabeth Banning. Her paternal grandparents were John Tipsword and Frances Or Farmusy Carlyle; her maternal grandfather was Michael Banning. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John J., James Meredith, Isaac Vincent, Christopher C., Joseph C., Walter, Mary Hester Josie, Juresin and Minda. She was the fifth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 85 on January 1st, 1949 in ,,Illinois.1 -
