Richard Norman was born on March 11th, 1884 in Asher, Madison Co., AR.1 Richard Norman's father was George Washington Tackett and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Clark. His paternal grandparents were James "Jim" Tackett and Elizabeth "Betty" Patrick; his maternal grandparents were Richard Clark and Mary Jane Griggs. He had a brother and six sisters, named Thomas Jefferson "Tuge", Effie Elizabeth, Della Jane, Maggie, Myrtle, Oma and Susan "Susie". He died at the age of 84 in August 1968 in Elkins, Washington Co., AR.1 General Notes
