  Tackett was an Irishman and was a hunter and fur trader. Betty or Betsy Patrick
  Tackett remarried after the death of James to a James or Tom Reed: James is
  noted as a minor child of John in this 1847 probate proceddings along with
  John Jr. and Sarah Tackett.
