George W. Tackett 
George W. was born on December 29th, 1845 in Madison Co., AR.1 George W.'s father was William Mason Tackett and his mother was Mary Ann Patrick. His paternal grandparents were John Tackitt and Sarah "Sally" Pelphrey. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James, Robert, William Jr, Andrew Jackson, Nancy, Sarah Jane, Rhoda Ann "Rodia", Mary Catherine and Eliza "Lisey". He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 59 on November 16th, 1905 in Dublin, Erath Co., TX.1 General Notes
