Richard Summers

Richard was born about 1832 in ,Washington, Missouri.¹   Richard's father was Samuel R. Summers and his mother was Jane Isgrigg.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Isgrigg and Sarah Lemon. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Samuel M., William M., John J., Joseph C., Amanda, Mary C., Hannah A. and Esther E..  He was the oldest of the nine children.
