Sarah Spires Or Spears 
Sarah was born in 1840 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Sarah's father was Gillam Spires Or Spears and her mother was Elizabeth Everhart. Her maternal grandparents were Christian Everhart and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Nancy and Ida. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
