John Spears

John was born about 1730 in Of Edgecombe County, North Carolina.¹ John's father was John Spiers and his mother was Elizabeth Warren. His paternal grandparents were John Spears and Joan Mendenhall. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Apsele. He had two half-sisters named Patience Cotton and Clare. He died in 1783 in Halifax County, North Carolina.¹
