John Spiers

John was born on September 25th, 1693 in Of Nansemond Co., VA.¹   John's father was John Spears and his mother was Joan Mendenhall.  His maternal grandparents were Thomas Mendenhall and Joan Stroud. He had three brothers named Thomas, William and James.  He died at the age of 71 in 1764 in Bertie Co., NC.¹
