Martha E. Simmons

Martha E. was born in 1845 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Martha E.'s father was George Simmons and her mother was Catherine Loudermilch.  Her paternal grandparents were Christian Simon Or Simmons and Catherine Amend Or Ammons; her maternal grandfather was Loudermilch. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Hiram, Abraham, Samuel, George, Susannah, Elizabeth, Delilah, Mary and Ellen.  She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
