Abraham Simmons

Abraham was born in September 1850 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Abraham's father was George Simmons and his mother was Catherine Loudermilch.  His paternal grandparents were Christian Simon Or Simmons and Catherine Amend Or Ammons; his maternal grandfather was Loudermilch. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, Hiram, Samuel, George, Susannah, Elizabeth, Delilah, Mary, Martha E. and Ellen.  He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
