John Samuel Shipley 
John Samuel was born in 1869 in Tennessee.1 John Samuel's father was William Milburn Shipley and his mother was Elizabeth Kinnaird. His paternal grandparents were Eli Wilson Shipley and Mahala Ann Felts; his maternal grandparents were Moses Kinnaird and Mary. He had three brothers named Gaines Whittley, Harvey Richard and Zebedee Lafayette. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 in 1930 in Parker County, Texas.1 -
