John Shipley

John was born in 1885.¹ John's father was Ambrose B. Shipley and his mother was Sarah Florence Craft. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Jackson Shipley and Barbara Ann Buttes. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin Jackson, Eugene Robert, William Grover, James H., May E. and Hattie M.. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
