Mary Jane Rutledge 
Mary Jane was born in 1868 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Mary Jane's father was Baxter S. Rutledge and her mother was Rachel Ann Cox. Her paternal grandparents were Emanuel Rutledge and Sarah Kate Wilson; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Cox and Barbara Hammond. She had a brother and five sisters, named Lilton Emory, Arlene Connely, Julia, Lula Rachel Ann, Barbara Frances and Salea Carmeen. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 92 in 1960.1 -
