Joseph Rogers 
Joseph was born on January 2nd, 1807 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Joseph's father was Joseph Rogers and his mother was Mary Amis. His paternal grandparents were James Rogers and Elizabeth Brown; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Amis and Alice Gale. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named James, John Alexander, Thomas Amis, Robert, Eliza M., Rachel, Frances Grantham, Margaret E., Lucy, Alice Gale, Louisiana N., Malinda and Nancy F.. He was the third youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 26 on June 1st, 1833 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 -
