Frances Grantham was born on January 21st, 1795 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Frances Grantham's father was Joseph Rogers and her mother was Mary Amis. Her paternal grandparents were James Rogers and Elizabeth Brown; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Amis and Alice Gale. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named James, John Alexander, Thomas Amis, Robert, Joseph, Eliza M., Rachel, Margaret E., Lucy, Alice Gale, Louisiana N., Malinda and Nancy F.. She was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 88 on February 7th, 1883 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 -
