William Rion

William was born in 1851 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹   William's father was Stokeley Towles Rion and his mother was Martha Ann Rucker.  His paternal grandfather was John Rion; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Rucker and Elizabeth Bourne. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Stokley, James Berryman, George W., Pauline and Susan.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
