George W. Rion

George W. was born in 1848 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹   George W.'s father was Stokeley Towles Rion and his mother was Martha Ann Rucker.  His paternal grandfather was John Rion; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Rucker and Elizabeth Bourne. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Stokley, James Berryman, William, Pauline and Susan.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
