Joseph Rion

Joseph was born about 1848 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹   Joseph's father was Newton B. Rion and his mother was Ann D. Griffey.  His paternal grandfather was John Rion; his maternal grandparents were Griffey and Margaret. He had a brother and five sisters, named Newton B., Sarah M., Georgia Ann, Rebecca, Martha and Mollie.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
