Rion 
Rion was born in December 1879 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.1 Rion's father was William Rion and her mother was Martha A. Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Stokeley Towles Rion and Martha Ann Rucker; her maternal grandparents were James S. Moore and Martha A. Bibb. She had a brother and three sisters, named Willie, Nettie, Matilda and Jessie. She was the youngest of the five children.-
