Lewis Pangle 
Lewis was born in 1838 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Lewis' father was James Pangle and his mother was Edy. His paternal grandfather was Pangle. He had three brothers and a sister, named Frederick, Tarlton, Lee and Martha A.. He was the second youngest of the five children.
