Ephraim Northern

Ephraim was born in 1832 in ,Burke, N.C..¹   Ephraim's father was Davis Northern and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandfather was Northern. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, William, Nelson, Ellender, Elizabeth, Nancy and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.
