John Noel

John was born in March 1862 in Richwoods Twp., Washington Co., Missouri.¹ John's father was Noah Nowell and his mother was Rachel UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Nowell and "Polly" Zumwalt. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James J., Phillip, Isabel, Susan J., Mary F., Elizabeth and Caroline. He was the youngest of the eight children.
