James Daniel Murphy

James Daniel was born in September 1860 in ,,Illinois.¹   James Daniel's father was Dennis Murphy and his mother was Martha Jane Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Morris Murphy and Catherine; his maternal grandparents were John Bell and Prudence Yates. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Morris, Michael, Catherine, Ella, Margaret and Louisa Laura.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.
