Ellen Monroe

Ellen was born in 1832 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Ellen's father was Asa Monroe and her mother was Sarah. She had five brothers and a sister, named Calvin W., Madison J., Mordecai, Robert, Martin Valley and Marian.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.
