John Mitchell

John's father was Solomon Mitchell and his mother was Nancy Broughton. His paternal grandparents were Robert Tyner Mitchell and Jane Henderson. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Lewis, Greenberry, Jesse, Morris, Richard, Robert, Stephen, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy, Rebecca and Susannah.
