Sarah Anna was born on May 14th, 1878 in Missouri.1 Sarah Anna's father was Joel Alexander Meadors and her mother was Mary Ann Jwidwell. Her paternal grandparents were Joel Meadors and Amy Cowden; her maternal grandparents were William Jwidwell and Gatsey Heath. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Asa A., William Clayton, Emma C., Nettie C., Mary L. C., Matilda Elizabeth, Eva I. and Alice Jane. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
