Nettie C. was born on February 14th, 1868 in Missouri.1 Nettie C.'s father was Joel Alexander Meadors and her mother was Mary Ann Jwidwell. Her paternal grandparents were Joel Meadors and Amy Cowden; her maternal grandparents were William Jwidwell and Gatsey Heath. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Asa A., William Clayton, Emma C., Mary L. C., Matilda Elizabeth, Eva I., Alice Jane and Sarah Anna. She was the second oldest of the nine children.-
