John Barnard Maye

John Barnard was born in 1620 in Somersetshire, England.¹   John Barnard's father was Robert Maye and his mother was Elizabeth Barnard.  His paternal grandparents were John Maye and Martha Baskerfield; his maternal grandfather was Baldwin Barnard. He had a brother and two sisters, named Robert, Anne and Joyce.  He was the second oldest of the four children.
