Her paternal grandparents were John "The Marshall" Fitzgilbert and Sibilla (Sibyl) De SALISBURY; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Strongbow" Fitzgilbert CLARE and Eva (Aoife) MCMURROUGH. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Gilbert, William, Richard, Anselm, Walter, Margaret, Maud (Matilda), Eve, Joane and Sibyl. She died in ,Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England.
