William Marshal

William's father was William Marshal and his mother was Isabel De Clare. His paternal grandparents were John Marshal and Sibyl Devereaux; his maternal grandparents were Richard Strongbow De Clare and Eva Of Leinster. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Anselm, Gilbert, Richard, Walter, Margaret, Sibyl, Isabel, Eve, Joanna and Maud. He died in 1231.¹
