Stephen Douglas Lewis

Stephen Douglas was born in 1789 in ,,Of Kentucky.¹   Stephen Douglas' father was Thomas Lewis and his mother was Elizabeth Payne. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Hector P., Asa K., Edward, Thornton, Alpheus, Douglas P., Anne Conyers Payne, Sarah Or Sally, Elizabeth, Catherine Or Kitty, Mary Or Polly and Sophia.  He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 81 in 1870.¹
