Thomas S. was born in 1865 in ,Of Wayne, Illinois.¹ Thomas S.'s father was Wesley Leathers and his mother was Nancy J. Beeson. His paternal grandparents were Leathers and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Richard Beeson and Hannah Copeland.
