Richard Leathers

Richard was born in 1851 in ,,Illinois.¹ Richard's father was Wesley Leathers and his mother was Nancy J. Beeson. His paternal grandparents were Leathers and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Richard Beeson and Hannah Copeland. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Minatres, John W., Jonathan, Robert, Thomas S., James C., Margaret, Sarah and Caroline. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
