Joseph Rogers Lawson 
Joseph Rogers was born on November 28th, 1833 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Joseph Rogers' father was Lazarus Lawson and his mother was Helen Maria Rogers. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Lawson and Polly Or Mary Dodson. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George W., Robert, Jacob, Lawson, Lazarus, Eliza and Mary Ann. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 84 on February 12th, 1918 in Cypress Mills, Blanco, Texas.1 -
