James Alexander Knight

James Alexander was born on November 20th, 1842 in ,Harrison, Kentucky.¹   James Alexander's father was Jesse Knight and his mother was Permelia Ann Bowen.  His paternal grandparents were Shadrack Knight and Margaret Holder; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bowen and Delilah Trundle. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John Robert, Jesse, Mary E., Sarah Ann, Melvina C., Pamelia Jennie, Martha E. and Alice Love.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 76 on November 1st, 1919 in ,Hopkins, Kentucky.¹
