Mary Kite 
Mary was born in 1862 in Virginia.1 Mary's father was David Kite and her mother was Mary Judy. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser; her maternal grandparents were Frederick Judy and Elizabeth Norman. She had a brother named Charles. She was the older of the two children. She had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Alfred Melton, Francis David, John W., Alexander, Thomas Oscar, Harvey, Eliza Jane, Virginia Ann, Nancy and Sarah.-
