Jackson Kite 
Jackson was born in 1820 in Virginia.1 Jackson's father was John Kite and his mother was Delia Armentrout. His paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser; his maternal grandparents were John Armentrout and Anna Marie Baker. He had a brother and eight sisters, named William, Mary Ann, Harriet, Ann, Elizabeth, Amanda V., Sarah Jane, Frances C. and Angelina. He was the third oldest of the ten children.-
